AFIL-2000 Precision Lubricator

The AFIL series of lubricators is designed to be used with portable pneumatic drilling machines, (i.e., Quackenbush, Rockwell, Keller, and Arrow), and other types of pneumatic portable equipment.

The AFIL series of lubricators is designed to be used with portable pneumatic drilling machines, (i.e., Quackenbush, Rockwell, Keller, and Arrow), and other types of pneumatic portable equipment.
The AFIL-2000 lubricator uses a special “air-flow sensing valve” which is attached in line with the air tool. This valve senses the operation of the air motor and begins to lubricate the cutting tool automatically the moment the air tool is operated. This feature helps to guarantee the proper application of lubricant to the cutting tool, a critical factor in eliminating the chance of a poorly machined surface and poor cutting tool life.

The cutting tool lubricant line is designed to be attached to a
coolant fed bushings/nosepiece when using standard drills. When using
oil-hole drills the cutting tool lubricant line is attached to a fluid
chuck or rotating union. An in-line atomizer, part number 9693, might be
required to transfer lubricant through the spindle of some larger tools.
A through hole quick connect coupling is used for easy attachment.

The precise metering of lubricant to the cutting tool is controlled
by the Accu-Lube positive displacement pump. This patented pump design
delivers the lubricant through a capillary tube system and is only mixed
with compressed air inches away from the cutting tool. This important
feature ensures that the instant the tool is operated lubricant is
delivered to the cutting tool and the instant the tool is turned off the
lubricant is stopped, which is critical in controlling that excess
lubricant is not allowed to escape.

The AFIL-2000 system has an independent lubrication system for
lubricating the air tool motor. This independent system ensures the
proper amount of “Air Tool Oil” is added to the air supply for the air
tool motor and ensures proper lubrication of the air motor.

The AFIL-2000 is available in two configurations:

Part #: 02M0-AER,

for use on self-feeding drill motors, routers, and other types of
pneumatic portable equipment that can be properly serviced with 3/8 inch ID
tool air hose but still has the large 1/2 inch supply found in most
aerospace facilities. Lubricant line is connected to a bushing with a
pneumatic connector, please specify if 1/4 inch or mini 1/8 inch
connector is required. Now standard with high airflow capabilities.

Part #: 02M0-FLT,
for use on self-feeding drill motors, routers, and other types of
pneumatic portable equipment that can be properly serviced with 3/8” ID
tool air hose. Uses a standard Stainless Steel Nozzle instead of a quick
connect fitting.
