There is a way to eliminate the mess caused by using flood coolant to cut your tubes, near dry sawing using Accu-Lube environmentally friendly “Green” cutting oil. Accu-Lube is being used successfully by many companies such as TW Metals, Jorgenson Steel and Totten Tubes as an cleaner alternative to water soluble flood coolant. In addition to being cleaner, Accu-Lube improves blade life and production rates.
Below is an HEM saw cutting with Accu-Lube. The nozzle spraying the oil is on the lower left guide arm. Notice how there is no coolant running down the inside of the tubes and how clean the saw table is. This is how your saws could look.
